The sun is shining and all is well in my world … just read something like that on Janine’s blog and thought it fit my blog too … well … that was until Alexander got upset with the computer game he’s playing and pushed his little sister over and started a yelling match with his big sister!
All sorted now and calm has been restored.
The weather today was so nice I decided Jessi and I should go on an adventure.
We drove out to Battle Hill Farm and had a picnic lunch.
We found loads of baby lambs … this one had just been born I think, we watched it stand on wobbly legs and look for a drink. When we came back after eating our lunch there were two lambs … so I guess she had the second one while we were gone.
We had a close up encounter with this chicken …
and saw some donkeys, and some goats and llamas and horses.
Then we stopped for a coffee and icecream on the way home … a pretty cool adventure really.
I think we’ll do a few more adventures like this during the holidays … only one more school day … yay!
Going cropping tonight so I’d better get some dinner cooked.

Isn’t it amazing how easy it is to have that kind of day in Wellington. Gotta love it on a good day … actually … gotta love Welly anyday in my book.
