Living Life!

So I’ve been instructed to write a blog post (thanks Heidi) … it appears I’ve been busy with my word for the year but lacking in the sharing it on my blog.

So … since we last met … we managed to get away for a super quick holiday earlier in January.

We had two nights in Auckland … which was long enough to buy a new car …

Visit Kelly Tarltons …

Swim in Mission Bay …

And celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary …

We were very thankful to Michael’s birth mother who was a wonderful host and babysitter/child educator … she took the kids to see some of the volcanoes as seen in the Under the Mountain DVD which she’d given them for Christmas.

The road trip also meant we were able to spend some time in Tokoroa with Michael’s parents.

Jessi was lucky enough to stay on for a few days with Grandma and Grandad by herself.

The rest of the holidays disappeared rather quickly and we’re now fully back into the school/work routines.

I’ve also been keeping busy with preparing classes for Craft House.

This one uses the reverse side of a canvas as a sort of shadow box.

And plans are well underway for a birthday party Jessi style. More on that later in the week.

Okay … so that was the real quick, massively condensed version of the last few weeks!

Until next time …
